Welcome to Faybley

For the nights you can't be there

Faybley
Your voice.
Their story.
Every night.

Faybley is an iOS and Android app that writes personalized children's stories starring your child and reads them aloud in a parent's own voice, with word-by-word highlighting for early readers. Ages 2 to 10. No ads. COPPA compliant.

Record yourself reading for one minute. From then on, every story Faybley writes for your child is read aloud in your voice, including the ones that don't exist yet.

Dad's voice

Aiden tiptoed past the sleeping dragon, holding the lantern very, very still.

Every word lights up as it's read, so early readers can follow along.

How it works

Three steps, then you're done forever

  1. Read one page out loud

About sixty seconds of your voice is enough. You record it once, in the app, and never again.

  2. Pick tonight's story

Choose a theme and your child becomes the main character, by name, at their reading level, in any of 11 languages.

  3. They hear you read it

The story arrives narrated in your voice, with every word lighting up as it's spoken. Works offline, in the car, at bedtime, anywhere.

What makes it different

Record once. Not once per book.

Other storytime apps let you record yourself reading. That works right up until your child wants a story you haven't recorded, which is most nights.

Faybley learns your voice once and reads anything in it, including stories written after you put the phone down.

Made for children, answerable to parents

Yes, it's AI. Here's exactly what that means for your child.

We think you should know how a story gets made before you hand it to a five-year-old. So: a language model writes it, your voice reads it, and these are the guardrails around both.

Every story is filtered

Stories pass age-appropriateness checks before they ever reach your child's screen.

No ads, no tracking, no strangers

Nothing is sold, nothing is advertised, and there is no way for anyone to message your child.

Your voice stays yours

Your recording is used to narrate your family's stories and nothing else. Delete it any time.

Parents hold the controls

Screen-time limits, content filters and a parent dashboard behind Face ID. COPPA compliant since day one.

FAQ

Questions parents ask before they download

Straight answers on parent voice, safety, pricing, languages, and how Faybley compares to other personalized story apps.

Yes. In Faybley you record about one minute of your own voice once. After that, every personalized story written for your child can be narrated in that voice, including stories created after you recorded. Only a parent or caregiver should record, never a child.

How parent voice narration works →

Tonight's story is already written.
It just needs your voice.

Free to download. One minute to set up. Then it works whether you're in the next room or another time zone.
